Entrepreneurship
One of the things that distinguish SHINES College is its emphasis on
entrepreneurship.
Entrepreneurship isn't just an academic discipline at SHINES College.
It's a way of life!
Our faculty and staff recognize the interdisciplinary value of entrepreneurship
and incorporate it into our curriculum and co-curricular programs. Our
co-curricular programs provide our students with exposure and hands-on
opportunities to complement what they learn in the classroom.
SHINES Venture Fund
SHINES supports its students' business endeavors in many ways. We provide
students with incubator space to "run their businesses" between
classes. The SHINES Venture Fund helps to nurture and facilitate business start-ups
founded by our students, staff and alumni. It provides the necessary
framework and environment, as well as access to an established network
of professional resources where innovative entrepreneurial ideas can
be tested.
